Unclipped dustwrapper, pp278, 28 blanck and white illustrations on 8 leaves. Dustwrapper chipped with a little loss to front. Binding and all pages tight, bright and clean. Wilkins undertook the first flight over antarctica, and in command of the Submarine Nautilus made the first voyage beneath polar ice. An interesting perspective on Polar exploration.
