Undated but c1924 (Readers Library started in this year). Readers Library first series so an early publication by this publisher (third on list on jacket front flap) and published from their first address at Leicester Square, London. Ecclesiastical, gothic endpapers. Publisher's burgundy cloth boards with gilt titles within gilt design on front and spine (gilt dulled). Binding tight. Top corner of front free endpaper creased and small nick to page edge. Small loss to top edge of rear free endpaper where stuck to top of rear pastedown. Colourful pictorial unclipped jacket with wraparound design, 5 cm closed tear bottom of front panel, 5 cm closed tear to edge of spine at head, small tears and creasing to edges. Not ex-library. No labels, names, notes nor inscriptions. 245 pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
