The 1947 Readers Union reprint (which conformed to wartime and post-war economy standards in publishing). 8vo, pp. 230 + b/w frontispiece (of Agate). Grey cloth boards with sunned red (now orange) lettering to spine. Head and tail of spine and corners lightly bruised. Else, a clean, tight copy.
