Unblemished copy. 309p., hardbound in 12x8.5 inch decorated boards, text illustrated by numerous diagrams (how rudder was constructed; how the ballast stones looked) some large folded plans, mostly theoretical, how the Nina and Pinta et alia were made. Several diagrams are pictorial. FYI: spine titling of Text states it to be "Volume vII" and so it is, but of a larger set devoted to Italian discovery of America. Ministry of Cultural and environmental assets.
