About This Item
Radnor, Pennsylvania: Chilton Book Co., 1974 White cloth covers with green/black imprinting on the spine. No bumping or rubbing, anywhere. In fact, if it weren't for the gift inscription on the front flyleaf, it would be listed "As New". The illustrated dust jacket has a 1/2 inch closed tear at the front bottom next to the spine, else fine. 328 pages, not counting the 16 pages of b/w photographs prior to the half-title page, or the Forward by Billy Sullivan, Former President of the New England Patriots, or the Prologue by Wells Twombly, author and sportwriter. The pages are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased. The binding is so good and tight it appears to be unread. A fine collector's edition from a non-smoking household. We ship daily. Pictures available upon request.. First Edition. Cloth. Fine+/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
