Green cloth, titled on blue paper labels on spine and front, dull orange topstain, in tan dust jacket printed in red; [vi],280,[2]pp. A straight copy wth minor fading to spine through jacket, Very Good. Jacket toned at panels, spine, and upper edges of flaps, with large chip at head and a few short marginal tears, generally around Very Good. CRANE A17.a.1.

Synopsis

This tale was published in 1931.  Willa Cather's Shadows on the Rock tells the tale of a young girl, her widower father, and their friends, all of them working to make a life for themselves in Quebec in 1697.
