New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1922. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. First American Edition, published Oct., 1922, same year in Roman numerals on title page. Large octavo, black cloth spine w/ title label, pale grey-blue board covers. Extra title label mounted inside back cover, 416 pages including Appendix, tissue-guarded frontispiece is engraved portait of Sheykh Mohammed Abdu. Light text block split between pages 192- 193, but all elements still firmly attached. Covers show general light wear- rubbing , soil, sm. corner bumps, edge wear, 1/4 to 1/2"" sunned strip along top & side edges. Spine label totally intact & legible. Clean, unmarked text, w/ hint of toning. NO hinge splits, NOT ex library. Nice copy.
