Author believes one William T. Phillips, who died in Spokane, Washington in 1937 was Butch Cassidy. A newspaper clipping idated 4/78 s affixed to the rear free fly leaf regarding this book. Also affixed to the rear pastedown sheet is a bulletin that promotes this book and the author visiting a Tucson book store to promote, discuss and sign copies.Laid-in is a critique of the book by a former owner. Paul Rossi, the one-time owner of this book is a well-regarded artist, illustrator, author, and historian especially of the Transmississippi West. Fine bright copy in a bright fresh dust jacket.
