About This Item

Sao Paulo: Raphus Press, 2022. First hardcover edition, Limited, New,. Sao Paulo: Raphus Press:, 2022. First hardcover edition, Limited, New, 171 pp.<br/> This edition limited to 101 copies. The first hardcover edition and a vastly expanded edition. "The incandescent poetry of Fernando Naporano, full of solar and telluric intensities that coexist in experimental and unique forms, has become known since the last decade, through books produced by publishers in Brazil and abroad. One such publication was Scarlet Sin, by Raphus Press, published in 2018. With additional texts by Claudio Willer, Luiz Nazario and Alcebiades Diniz Miguel, cover art by and inside illustrations by J. J. Granville, our first collaboration with Naporano soon disappeared from booksellers and our catalogue as well, becoming a rara avis. But, suddenly, the opportunity to re-edit this milestone in poetry emerged, even with additional poems and brand new art (both on the cover and inside the book) by multimedia artist Anna Paryska, whose singular compositions ooze a ferocity that is both abstract and quite concrete, like the textures of all living and inhuman things."
