First edition, first impression, presentation copy, inscribed by the author to his sister Olwyn less than a month after its publication on the title page, "With love to Olwyn from Ted May 1st 1967". This is copy C of 26 copies lettered A-Z and signed by the author. A further 380 unsigned copies went on general sale. This copy is from the library of Frieda Hughes, daughter of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath, though unmarked as such. Octavo, pp. 8. Original pink wrappers, front wrapper lettered in black, stapled as issued. Wrappers slightly fingermarked, small dark spot on fore edge, contents clean. A very good copy. Sagar & Tabor A11.
