The text is illustrated with colour drawings by Tenggren, who also drew the colour illustration on the front panel. At the rear of the book there is a pocket and within that pocket a small record, which runs at 33 1/3 RPM. Sooki, a small saggy baggy elephant, was taunted by other animals in the jungle about his looks. He tried many remedies but they were failures. So he decided to take himself into a cave to hide, when a very hungry lion thought that a small elephant would be just the thing. He gave out one a loud trumpet, and, all of a sudden there were very large saggy baggy elephants frightening off the lion, and, they assured him that he would be as handsome as they when he grew up.
