Chipping to the top backstrip edge. The rear dustwrapper panel has become yellow, slightly foxed and shows handling marks. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. Browning and slight foxing to the verso of the dustwrapper. The biography of the North African Fox -- Field-Marshal Rommel. He was the scourge of the English Eighth Army. Despite being starved of all support and supplies he fought the English to a standstill until the lack of supplies made his North Africa campaign a losing proposition. He then went back to Germany, where loyalty to his country, rather than the High Command ie., Hitler, caused him to attempt to assassinate Hitler. He was summarily executed. But his legend still lives. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Dust Jacket price-clipped. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Photographic. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Military & Warfare; Biography -- Military; Military History -- World War II; Inventory No: 0107175. .
