New York: Barse & Hopkins Book. Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, light green pictorial cloth, with spine lettered in gold. Top edge gilt. 328 pages. Illustrated with frontispiece and full page and vignette images throughout. Presumed American first edition (1909), no date given. Published prior to the Centennial celebration of this event which was be held in Winnipeg in 1912, as stated in preface. No previous ownership marks. Old news clipping pasted to inside cover and front free end-paper with resulting toning. One or two spots of foxing, most especially to last blank leaf, [and there only at edges]. Cloth shows only mild age wear and slight darking at inside covers. A square, internally clean, tight and unmarked copy. Good..
