About This Item

Grosset & Dunlap, 1912. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. A very decent copy of this reprint from the author of Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch, Pale green boards are sharp and clean, pages yellowing but not brittle. Probably not really from 1912, looks like an early 1930's era Grosset & Dunlap binding. Jacket is completely intact but a bit wrinkled, as if from dampness, but book beneath does NOT show any signs that the book was ever actually damp. Jacket has some chipping at the top of the spine and some very small chips from bottom of soine, colors are bright but starting to fade a bit. Totally presentable, would look great in Brodart. Jacket is NOT cliped but no price is present. Back flap advertises SANDY by the same author, back of jacket has a list of "BOOKS FOR EVERYONE!" That starts with Lost Horizon and ends with The Puritan Strain. OK, maybe not for everyone!!
