About This Item
London: Macmillan, 1955. First edition, first printing. Published by Macmillan in London, 1955. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is profusely designed and has one small closed tear at the top edge. The spine tips are slightly bumped and worn. It has not been price clipped, showing the original 13s 6d net price. The illustrated boards are sharp and bright. There is a previous owner's inscription to the front fly, dated to the year of publication. The text blocks are so slightly foxed. This is a near fine copy in striking condition. The eighth book in the 'Adventure' series!
