New York: William S. Gottsberger, 1887. Hardcover. Near Fine. frontis portrait, v. 347p. Original brown cloth. 18 cm. Ends of backstrip and corners rubbed. Translated from the Germen by Zoe Dana Underhill. INSCRIBED by translator ("Dr. Blackwell With the warm regards of Z. D. U." -- probably Emily Blackwell, the sister who remained in practice in the United States). Zoe's name shows up just a bit in the Blackwell Family Papers at the Library of Congress. Lepsius was an important early German Egyptologist.
