Toronto: Clarke Irwin & Co., 1953. 1st . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. First printings of all three volumes (dated 1953, 1954 and 1955). Hardcover, octavo format in brown cloth with gilt titles, no dust jackets. This set was de-accessioned from the Stratford Shakespeare Festival Reading Room many years ago. Each volume bears the Festival reaading room book plate on the front free endpaper.
