Price of $5.00 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Heise 37. Van Doren 28. The first trade edition, published after a limited edition of 1000 copies. Sandburg's epic novel weaving together four stories from different time periods in American history. Jacket has a dampstain to its reverse and a few traces of edge wear.
