London: The Harleian Society, 1919-20. B084YT41NK. 2 Vols First edition hardbacks. Vol 1 published in 1919 and Vol 2 in 1920. The books are uniformly bound in brown cloth with the titles in gilt on the spine with the circular gilt motif of the Harleian Society embossed on the front boards. Each volume measures 10¾" x 7½". The set has continuous pagenation - xvi + 348 pages + a 4 page catalogue of The Harleian Society publications at the rear. Each volume has a small previous owners' bookplate on the front pastedown. Vol 1 has a very feint small '49' written in ink on the spine, otherwise a very nice, clean, tightly bound set. VG+ .
