Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian Branch Of The Royal Asiatic Society, 1993. Paperback. Very Good. 17-12-16. Following the Japanese invasion of Malaya in 1941 less than half a dozen British nationals decided to stay with their Malayan friends and colleagues rather than flee. Two of that small group were Nora Baker and her brother, Vincent, who died in the jungle before the war ended. This book tells the story of her survival mostly thanks to various guerilla groups resisting the Japanese. Very Good Paperback 184 pages. Weight 0.5kg. Post free within Malaysia The cover is clean except for a small crease in one corner. A previous owner's name is written on a front end paper. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is very faint tanning of the pages.
