Full contemporary calf, gilt-stamped lettering in red leather spine labels (one label detached and laid in), gilt-stamped detail on spine; complete in 4 volumes. Spine tips and corners scuffed; front board of volume one loose; boards, in general, are dry; joints tender. Armorial bookplate of Walter Hawkins; his signature to the title dated 1811. Later gift inscription dated 1862 from Charles James Vyner to Sarah Dorothea Vyner. Engraved Plates by Stothard.
