New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1919. First Edition (NAP). . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Bound in burgundy cloth with titles stamped in gilt. 128 pages. Preliminary issue prior to the 1920 issue of the revised treatise, which appears (by page count) to be identical to this. Ex-library copy with DD number to the spine and stamps to the front endpapers, title and copyright pages. Text clean and unmarked. The cloth shows edgewear with shallow chipping at the head of the spine and frayed corners. Hinges solid; binding square. Interesting old (1921) card pocket marked Omaha Public Library and Museum to the front pastedown. Solid reading copy. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
