New York and Depew: Gould Coupler Company - Electrical Department. Soft cover. Very Good-. Diagrams and Artwork. Original brown wraps, printed in red. 29 pages. Illustrated with photo-like artwork of the various electical components and wiring diagrams. Undated, but pre-1925, as there is no mention of the Symington Company, with merged with Gould at that date. Railroad car lighting system, likely for use on a caboose. The card covers show shallow chips at the edges of the yapp binding, with a couple of short tape repairs on the cover versos, and there are five holes punched at the left edge, for insertion into a binder. This may be original, but could also be post-publication. The title page has an inked stamp indicating that this volume was once in "Messick's Library", but is otherwise unmarked. A clean, bright copy, with no foxing or other text damage. Uncommon. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall

Privately printed, without publisher credit. The authors have placed a short statement of purpose, dated August 13, 1958, on the title page verso where the copyright is normally found. Signed and dated 5/25/65 on the title page verso by author William Kratville. The cloth shows only a touch of edgewear at the extremities. The dust wrapper, printed entirely in black and white, has locomotives on both panels, the front in daylight and the rear at night. Titles are placed along the lower edge of the front panel and on the spine. The wrapper has mild edgewear, a 1 inch closed tear with creases on the rear panel, a 1/2 " and a 1" closed tear on the front panel, and a bit of creasing at the head of the spine. The volume lacks the travel plan. A clean, tight copy. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall

Published March, 1938, with matching dates to title and copyright pages. A history of flight from the time of Montgolfiers to 1938, primarily for young people. Illustrated throughout. The cloth shows a touch of edgewear and light soil to the edges of the cream border. The endpapers have marginal toning and offsetting, due to the glue used to affix the pastedowns. The text and photos are clean, with no toning or foxing. The dust jacket, which has the same design and color scheme as the cloth, has mild edgewear and rubbing with shallow chips at the head and and heel; there is a 1-1/2" creased tear to the lower edge of the rear panel. A clean, tight, unmarked copy with the jacket in mylar.
