Edmund Pearson discusses weird, curious, or eccentric books and authors-quite unusual. Bound in the original gilt-stamped brick red cloth, three gilt decorations like hinges, on each side of spine, quite clean and unmarked, spine heel frayed. spine head , hinge and edges rubbed, corners lightly scuffed. All edges rough cut. Sewn binding tight and solid; backstrap loosened from crash. Pages are toned, very clean, no markings of any kind. Contents: I. Temperance Novels, II.
