About This Item

London, UK: Punch Office, 1930. Hardcover. Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Almanack [approx 48pp]. 728pp. Maroon cloth-covered boards, black and gilt design on front; blind embossed design on rear, blind embossed boards on both; gilt titles and motif on spine; text block edges speckled red. Illustrated throughout mostly in black and white with a small number of colour illustrations and plates. 4to. A large and very heavy volume requiring an additional charge for overseas delivery. Lightly sun-faded spine, rubbed and bumped spine ends, closed tear at top front joint; corners rubbed, cloth starting to fray, light wear to board covers. Endpapers lightly tanned. Internally this is a neat, clean, bright and tight volume with very occasional marks at the top corner of the pages.
