About This Item
Boston & Philadelphia: Benjamin B. Mussey / DeSilver Thomas, 1835. 1/4 leather. Very Good. The 1835 stated 2nd edition. Tight and VG n its handsome rebind, an elegant, recent 1/4 morocco over marbled boards, with offsetting red-leather title label and 5 compartments along the spine. Internally, the text shows forgiveable foxing along the plates and to much of Asher Benjamin's text. The plates (all 60 of them) and the text though remain eminently bright and legible. Quarto, new pastedowns and endsheets as well.
