Twenty-nine engravings plus a beautiful woodcut frontispiece "The Stricken Oak" by Joan Hassall. Decoration in gilt to front board. Endpapers make up a two-page spread of "Cuckoo's View of Monks Norton" an imaginary English village. Bookplate to prelim. The woodcuts are all present and perfect. A most presentable copy.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
