London: Longmans, Green, and Co, 1869. Later edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. 10 vol. Small 8vo. For pagination, please inquire. Contemporary polished green calf with twin gilt borders on each board, gilt decorations to the boards' edges, spines in six compartments with gilt decorations and gilt lettering on a red and a brown morocco lable each; all edges marbled. Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Bound by Bickers and Son of London. Each volume illustrated with a frontispiece and an engraved title page. Lowndes 1597. First published in 1840-1841, this is a beautifully bound later edition of Moore's poems. Volumes one and two with a discoloration to each front board, volume one with a strain to its front hinge, each volume with light foxing to the blank endsheets.
