London: Griffith and Faran, c1895. Leather. Very Good. 7.5" by 5.5". None. An illustrated edition of the ever-popular poetical works of Scotland's famous Scott. Bound in leather with gilt lettering. With Twelve photographs of drawings and paintings relating to the works of Scott. Dated from the ink inscription. This is the 'Albion' edition of Sir Walter Scott's poetry, illustrated with photographs. "In the 'Albion' edition of Scott the publishers have the pleasure of offering the public a collection of all his poems, from every source, including the posthumous verses and fragments published in Lockhart's 'Life' of the poet" -from the Introduction. Bound in leather with gilt lettering. There is only mild wear to the extremities, with just mild rubbing, with a mark to the front board and sunning to the spine. The binding is tight and firm. Internally the pages have slight browning, with very light foxing to the plates and spots to the first and last few pages. With a dated 1895 ink inscription to the front blank. Very Good
