London: John Murray, 1855-1856. Six volumes; in handsomely bound 19th century red, pebble-grained, full morocco. All edges gilt; marbled endpapers; the front and back boards are uniformly decorated with three ornate gilt-stamped borders; the spines are decorated with compartments separated by raised bands with gilt-stamped decorations; the set’s title is on a green morocco label on each volume and the contents and number of individual volumes are noted below in another compartment, stamped in gilt on the red morocco. Insignificant wear; a fine set.
