New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1904. Cloth. Good. Black cloth with a color pastedown illustration on the front cover. X, 199 pp. With color plates by Maxfield Parrish throughout, all present as called for. A collection of poetry for children, accompanied by classic illustrations throughout. GOOD condition. Front cover pastedown illustration rather scuffed and faded, with moderate fading and some scuffing to the cloth. Minor general soiling. Moderate scuffing to the cloth along the hinges and extremities, with some pulling and tearing at the head of the spine. Front interior hinge cracked, with the cover beginning to separate. Owner's signature on the first endpaper. Text block toned. Scattered soiling in the interior.
