Wrap-around band with blurbs by Vincent McHugh, Malcolm Cowley, Allen Tate & William Poster. Lightly toned spine, else an essentially as new copy including the spine label and promotional band, and scarce as such; certainly scarce with the printer/publisher's signature. [In a removable mylar protective jacket.]. Kees was one of the most accomplished poets of his generation, and as well a serious painter, jazz and movie critic. A beautifully printed collection, the last by Kees before his mysterious disappearance the following year, this is one of a Limited Edition of only 25 copies, this one out-of-series and unnumbered, designated "printer's copy for presentation."
