Paris: Ernest Flammarion, 1913. Hard Cover. Very Good. Nouvelle édition publiée par Édouard Rouveyre. 2 volumes: illustrations; 21 cm. Leather spines with marbled paper over boards. Six spine compartments between raised bands; gilt-stamped spine titles and call numbers. Top page edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Part of the series Vie Privée des Anciens. No date of publication; library records use 1913. Front fixed endpapers bear bookplate of Free Library of Philadelphia indicating that they were a gift of C. Clark Zantzinger, Jr. Library stamp at head of first page of text and shelf number stamped at foot of that page. Small library pocket on back free endpaper of each volume, stamped "Withdrawn." In Very Good Condition: ex-library as described above; edges rubbed with slight loss of leather at ends of spines; paper over boards slightly rubbed; pages are clean and tight.
