New York: Peoples' Home Journal, 1901. 1st. Self-cover. Good. 16 x 11 inches, 22 page magazine . Condition; a fold in the center, soil and small edge tears and the front cover is torn in the center. Good condition only.

Included is the short story called River-Lead Canon with an illustration and written by Isabella Valancy Crawford. The short story, River-Lead Canon first appeared October 31, 1874 in Frank Leslie's Chimney corner quoted from Winona; or The Foster sisters.

This century old magazine contains a collection of stories by various other authors; Marguerite Aymar, Mary J. Holmes, Robert C.V. Meyers, Wm. C. Hudson, and Rhoda S. Regent. It also contains many ads for various medical 'cures' of the time period.
