About This Item
Old America Company, Framingham MA, 1924. First Edition. Very Good. Green cloth hardcover, 302 pp with hundreds of sepia tone photographs and original woodcuts. A solid, clean original first edition with minor shelf wear; hinges and binding tight. Bright gilt lettering on cover, faded gilt lettering on spine, darkened spine, minor spotting on cover, 2" long tear on top edge back cover, front endpaper has 1" of upper corner missing andtwo small tears on upper edge. One of Nutting's States Beautiful Series: "ILLUSTRATED BY THE AUTHOR WITH MANY EXAMPLES OF LANDSCAPES AND OLD HOUSES IN ALL THE COUNTIES HEREIN DESCRIBED."
