A novella first published in 1845 as Musset's "Mademoiselle Mimi Pinson". A book bound in full vellum, raised bands, spine lettered in gilt, decorative endpapers, top edge gilt, housed in a striking wooden pictorial inlaid slipcase by Deutsche Werkstatten with small chip near head, minor spots of soiling to rear board otherwise nearly fine.
