Hardback later printing (probably late 1940s) in blue cloth with pictorial cover featuring Ozma parting stage curtains with castle silhouette in background. Black-lettered spine faded, with light-colored spots on rear cover; light edgewear/rubbing; slight bowing of covers. Hinges sound, uncracked; pages tight, clean; some endpapers tad unevenly darkened. John. R. Neill illustrations in black and white. Previous owner's name in red ink on "This book belongs to" page. No DJ. .
Synopsis
Ozma of Oz, published on July 29, 1907, was the third book of L. Frank Baum's Oz series. It was the first in which Baum was clearly intending a series of Oz books.
