Harrisburg: Oxford University Press. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1928. First Edition. Davies covers the entire history of mankind from earliest man to the 1920's. This book contains a number of b&w illustrations, photos, time charts, and maps. It was reprinted a number of times, but I believe that this ws the first edtion as I have not been able to locate a copy published prior to 1928. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings in original blue covers with gilt rule on prerimeter of front cover and gilt spine lettering which are all bright. There is a small previous owner name sticker on upper left corner of the title page not intruding on any text. ; B&W Illustrations, Photos, and Maps; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 560 pages .
