Philadelphia: John C. Winston Company, 1948. This is a presentation copy from the Patterson, New Jersey school district to a pupil in 1958. The presentation page is filled in with the name of the student (Locicero), Principal (Donnelly), School (Number 25) and Superintendent (Gioia.) "The Memories of My School Days" pages are also filled with the signatures of the teachers and fellow students which appear to have been collected between 1958-1960 making this volume similar to a yearbook or autograph book. Our Great State Papers includes: The Declaration of Independence The Constitution of the United States The Constitution of New Jersey The History of and Pledge to the United States Flag This is an 8vo size blue clothbound hardcover with yellow titles and decoration on front cover, 89 pages with a few black and white illustration and color frontispiece on glossy stock. Text pages are followed by a few pages titled "Memories of My School Days" - filled in, in this volume, with signatures of teachers and students. Edgewear, bumped head and heel of spine, crease to top tip of fep and frontispiece. There is a little bleed through on the back of page 89 from signatures on the reverse.
