Letter is to the same person to whom the book is inscribed, and is in regard to the possibility of having the book translated into Danish. Book and dust jacket are in fine condition. Clean unfaded green boards with red cloth spine, crisp black lettering on spine. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean. Inscribed and signed by author on front free endpaper: "To John, with joyous recollection of your last visit here, and eager anticipation of your next. Fondly - Jean Gould." Small attractive custom bookplate at top corner of front fixed endpaper. 160 pages. Clean dust jacket is not price clipped, unchipped, no tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
