Red leather limp bound edition of Meredith's novel. Gilt on spine, cover, and top text block.

Inscription by former owner on FFEP dated 1924.

Front cover is completely torn off book (see pictures). Also wear on spine and back cover. Text block is shaken near front but not loose; all pages appear intact. Some staining on text and writing on RFEP.
