SECOND IMPRESSION IN DUSTWRAPPER circa 1930 (first published 1928), 155 x 103 mm, 6¼ x 4½ inches, pale pink boards with red vignette and lettering, illustrated front endpaper, 42 pages. 6 very pretty mounted colour plates, all featuring fairies, title vignette and 21 illustrations in blue in the text. Slightest darkening to top edge of upper board. Virtually a Fine copy in Fine DUSTWRAPPER (dw: minute nick at lower corner of upper cover). The price 2/- was originally printed on the spine of the dustwrapper in blue, it was then overprinted 1s. 6d. in pink for the second impression. MORE IMAGES ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING, ALL ZOOMABLE.
