SECOND IMPRESSION IN DUSTWRAPPER circa 1930 (first published 1928), 155 x 103 mm, 6¼ x 4½ inches, pale pink boards with red vignette and lettering, illustrated front endpaper, 42 pages. 6 very pretty mounted colour plates, all featuring fairies, title vignette and 21 illustrations in blue in the text. Slightest darkening to top edge of upper board. Virtually a Fine copy in Fine DUSTWRAPPER (dw: minute nick at lower corner of upper cover). The price 2/- was originally printed in blue on the spine and lower panel of the dustwrapper, it was then overprinted 1s. 6d. in pink for the second impression (see our enlarged image).
