Doubleday, Page & Co., 1905. hard cover. Good/No jacket. New York; Doubleday, Page & Co., 1905. First American Edition. Hardcover, no dj. 484pp. Illustrated with b/w photographs. Ex-library. Good condition. Green cloth boards are moderately worn with some fabric fraying at the extremities and top/bottom of spine. Library number is taped to spine. Light foxing to preliminaries and again to final few pages; also a bit around each of the photographic pages. Library sticker to front paste down, a few pencilled library markings,and small library stamp to title page and to margins of all photographs. The binding is slightly cocked but tight, with rear hinge starting. Overall a very satisfactory copy of this important historical account of Tibet. (cfm) *This is a heavy book and will incur extra postage.
