Book is SIGNED by the author on the first free end paper of this fine uncorrected proof copy of this very entertaining Civil War novel and it's aftermath. First edition issued without jacket as most proofs are and signed by author in cream colored wrappers. Tiny soil at bottom of text block and tiny spot on fore edge on the fore edge, A very fine + copy.
