Book bound in gray paper covered boards with a parchment spine. Gilt lettering on the spine only. Tissue guarded color frontis and 56 black/white plates on glossy paper. Informative book on the English potter Spode with examples and information taken from the author's extensive collection. In a gray dust wrapper with a front cover color pictorial paste-on; spine shows the original price to have been'18/net'. Book with corners bumped; light wear through at the tips; light to moderate foxing throughout. DJ with spine chipping at top/bottom; folds tears; spine darkened. Many pages uncut.
