Amsterdam and Leipsick: Chez Arkstee & Merkus, 1758. 527, 634, & 638 pages, with folding maps in Volumes I and II. Original full leather covers with raised spine bands creating six compartments. Red and black spine labels, with gilt lettering. Gilt stamped decoration in other compartments. Leather is rubbed and shows scattered wear. There is some wear at spine ends. The volume number label on III is heavily rubbed. The joints of covers at spine are cracked, though the hinges (internal) of volumes I and II are fairly solid. The hinges in Volume III are broke, and the covers of Volume III remain barely attached by the cords. Institutional stamp of the Valentine Museum is seen on the front paste down of all three volumes, though NO other institutional markings are noted. Text blocks are all tight. Scattered, mostly light, foxing is seen throughout all three volumes. Contents are otherwise clean and intact.
