Aberdeen University Press: W. Jolly & Sons, 1922 originally published in wrappers (?) this is cased in cloth boards with title block from original cover pasted down to front board, bookplate of D. A. Kidd of University of Canterbury ( Christchurch New Zealand) to paste down, shows a hand holding reed blossoms (?) Egyptian style, 52pp, pages age browned, a few with light creases, written for a production by students of Aberdeen University in November 1922 (500 gram rate) . First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall.
Synopsis
Contains Grene's 1942 translation of Oedipus Rex; also includes Grene's 1991 introduction to Sophocles I, entitled The Theban plays by Sophocles.
