This work contains the following parts: Tryxalinae, Parts I, II, IV, V, VI, VII; III; Oadipodinae, Parts I, II, III, IV; Acridiinae, Parts II, III, IV. This volume is inscribed by the author on the front endpaper. Name stamps of Irving J. Cantrall on one part and Wm. Beutenmuller two parts as well as on the front endpaper. This work is from the private library of entomologist Herbert S. Wallace. Unusual collection on the Acrididae (the predominate family of grasshoppers) compiled and bound by Herbert Wallace.
