Various places, 1871-1959. First edition.. Very good to near fine condition.. Pp. 5000+, numerous line-drawings, photographs, maps and others. Each offprint is separately bound in quarter black cloth over green snake-skin patterned stiff boards, usually with the original printed wrappers bound in place, 8vo or 4to. The offprints date from the 1870s to the 1950s. Each offprint was indexed by Wallace with a typewritten white label attached to the lower left corner of the front board with the author, title, date and journal listed. The original index card collection for these offprints is not available here. Many of these offprints have the name stamp or signature of Herbert Wallace on the front wrapper or title page. Many offprints are inscribed to Wallace by the authors. Other offprints have the name stamp or signature of other notable researchers in the field. Postage will be extra.
